Who We Are

Thomas Segrera

Thomas Segrera is currently a junior and oarsman at Georgetown University. He rowed in the 2nd Varsity 8+ during his freshman year and moved up to the Varsity 8+ for the entirety of his sophomore season. In high school, Thomas competed in multiple national A finals in the single scull, and this past summer, he trialed for the U.S. U23 men’s double scull, placing second. Through these experiences, Thomas has developed the work ethic, drive, commitment, and time-management skills necessary to succeed both athletically and academically. In the recruiting process, he received his first offer from Georgetown, along with additional offers from multiple Ivy League programs.


Teddy Mangan

Teddy is a member of the Georgetown Varsity 8, along with 4 years of competition at the high school level in both sculling and sweeping. In high school, Teddy medaled at the Head of the Charles Regatta, won the Youth National Championship in the men's varsity 8+, and ended his senior spring season undefeated. Multiple different schools recruited Teddy to compete at the collegiate level, including Ivy League schools. Teddy's high school 2k pr was under 6:15.


Michael Ruschmann

Michael is the current stroke seat of the varsity 8 at Georgetown University with years of experience competing at a high level in both scull and sweep. In high school, his achievements included winning at the Head of the Charles, medaling at Youth Nationals, racing internationally at Henley Royal Regatta, and receiving an invitation to the under-19 national team. He has communicated directly with multiple coaches and received offers from several programs, including Ivy League schools. Michael’s high school 2k pr was under 6:12.
